projects
Royex House, London
The brief was to manage the structural repair and refurbishment of the common areas and certain tenanted floors. This helped maintain rental income until planning consent for the highly sensitive site (next to the Roman remains of London Wall) was gained
Designed by Richard Seifert and opened in 1962, the 19 storey building was finally demolished and the site redeveloped in 2006/7
With each new commission we make a section of our site available for the new project. The Client is given its unique url (address) and it becomes the communication focus for the project
As work develops it may include downloadable documents, photographs, links to product websites, draft sketches for approval, contact names and addresses, significant dates etc - basically all of the latest information. For web design commissions the project pages will host the drafts of your site until the design is signed off
To access your project pages either enter your project url in the address bar on your browser or simply click the link in the email that we sent you
The confidential nature of many of our appointments make publication of details here innappropriate, but both before and since Chaffer Associates was formed back in 2003 our staff have gained a wealth of experience on literally hundreds of construction projects
The projects have ranged through domestic alterations, one-off houses, housing estate infrastructure, shops, banks, hotels, warehouses, factories, supermarkets, public buildings, colleges and universities
A selection of projects that our staff have been directly involved with across their careers are shown on this page and more images of these, and other completed projects, are included elsewhere on the site
